1001 Albums #11

I have said it before and I will say it again. I do not like Spanish music. At least I have never heard one song that made me think I should buy the cd or download it from iTunes. Sabu’s Palo Congo is no exception. In fact, I hate it even more because it mixes jazz with more chaotic sounds of the drum beats. I love the drums, but not Sabu’s drumming. I am getting tired of the jazz in this list even if it has Cuban rumba with Afrikan beats.

Was jazz so popular at the end of the 50s?

I do not have much to say, except that this cd will go at the bottom of the worst list next to the country albums. Cross your fingers that there is something other than jazz next.
