I thought I was done with Frank Sinatra and Antônio Carlos Jobim. Hopefully, this will be it for both of them. I want to rock.
“The Girl from Ipanema” is the first track. I did not like it at all. I think I am tired of all the cover versions now. Everything in the 60s was covered to death. People today complain about it all the time. They should take a look at the 60s. They flogged songs to a third death.
“Dindi” is the only song worth listening to on the whole album. Skip the rest. Listen to it on Spotify. Listen to the earlier albums I reviewed.
“Change Partners” had a different guitarist because of the difficulty of the song. I am so confused because it seems like the simplest song on the album, especially the guitar. Maybe Jobim was just wanting to get paid for less work.
This is the worst of the Sinatra albums on the list. It was rather boring. His voice is not good on this album. In my opinion, his voice does not match the music. I would never listen to it again. 5/10.
