I hate Frank Zappa‘s other albums on this list with his band Mothers of Invention. I am sure I will feel the same for his solo album Hot Rats. Luckily, this is the last album on the list of 1001 Albums.. for the 60s. I am hoping to find some great gems in the 70s. The 70s had a great sound, but the 80s will be the best. I love the 80s. I think the only decade I was a bit lost was the mid-90s to the end of it. I like early 2000s a lot.
Hot Rats is only six songs ranging from 3 minutes to almost 13 minutes. Five of the song six are instrumentals. This is great news. Only one song will have awful singing.
For an instrumental album it is not terrible, but it is not great either. I do like instrumental pieces, but this one is dated and quite boring. 4/10.
