#530 Meat Puppets – Meat Puppets II

I have never heard the Meat Puppets’ music before today. I have discovered that the band Nirvana was a big fan of their music. Meat Puppets II is their second studio album.  It is labeled as cowpunk and psychedelic music. That is not encouraging for me.

I did not like this album because of its country rock music. I am not sure who was singing which song, since there are two singers Curt Kirkwood and Cris Kirkwood, but the vocals all sucked and not in a good way. The music was bizarre, but not in a good way either. Hard pass on this album. 2/10.
