My Bloody Valentine is a band I have heard of because of my former best friend Eric. I know he listened to them, but I do not remember if he played them for me. Isn’t Anything is their debut album. This band was instrumental in noise pop, and especially in shoegazing.
I think my favourite song was “Soft as Snow (But Warm Inside)“. I also liked “(When You Wake) You’re Still in a Dream” and “Nothing Much to Lose”.
Overall, I think this album was and still is a creative masterpiece of music. I think it holds up exceptional well today. It is so fresh that it sounds like it was recently released. My only problem is to figure out which songs to put on the list. I find some albums which are great as a whole difficult to tear apart. 10/10.
