#643 Firehose – fROMOHIO

Firehose is an American band that I have never heard of until today. fROMOHIO is their third album and it was released in 1989. They only chart success they achieved was “Time With You“; it reached #26 on Billboard Modern Rock Tracks.

I found this band to be a bit bland. I cannot find one reason they made it on the list of 1001 Albums… In fact, the book tried to say this was a signpost or something that Nirvana was ahead shortly. Am I missing something? This seems really boring in comparison. Actually, you do not need to compare it because it is boring on its own. My recommendation is that you skip it. Luckily the album is short. 5/10.
