#666 Deee-Lite – World Clique

Deee-Lite was a group that I listened to in 1990. I think I owned their first three albums. I definitely bought World Clique in 1990. New Yorkers Deee-Lite took over house music and gave it their own flair of sound and fashion.

This was a great album. I still like “Groove Is In The Heart“.

Other great songs are “Good Beat”, “Power of Love“, “What Is Love?“, “World Clique”, and “E.S.P.“.

Overall, this is a fun album. I would give it a listen if you like upbeat dance music. Sometimes the lyrics can be a bit silly, but the music is always danceable. It lost some of its appeal over the years. 8/10.
