#682 A Tribe Called Quest – People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm

I have not heard anything from A Tribe Called Quest and I have never heard of their debut studio album People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. I decided early on in life that I hated rap, even though I was young when it came out. I prefer music that is original and lyrics that make a story. I also hate vulgar language. It seems so unnecessary. The list of artists who regard this album as influential is a list of artists that I hate their music. Chances of me liking this are really slim.

I hate when people talk in songs. If I wanted to hear talking I would watch a film or make some friends.

I did not hate this album as much as some of the previous hip hop albums. It was a bit more diverse in music, yet it still is all a rip-off. 5.5/10.
