#748 The Fall – The Infotainment Scan

This is The Fall’s third appearance on the list. The first album was okay, but the second one I did not like at all. The Infotainment Scan is their fifteenth studio album.

Vocalist and founder Mark E. Smith is not a great singer, but more of a good talker. If you listen to “It’s a Curse“, then you will understand what I mean. He talks through the whole song. I find it kind of strange, yet interesting.

Best song was “A Past Gone Mad“. More talking, but at least the music was great.

Overall, I would never listen to it again. I can listen to myself talking and I have interesting things to say. Why listen to someone else do it? 5.9/10.
