Spring Is Coming

It seems we have been all wondering if spring will ever arrive. The past winter played out like the tagline for the first season of Game of Thrones; Winter is Coming, but unfortunately like an untalented celebrity, e.g., Kardashians, Rihanna, Pitbull and most of the Twilight cast, it over stayed its’ welcome.

Last week the sun was out, shining down on the people of Lyon, coaxing everyone out of hibernation from the winter which stayed for breakfast the next morning, even though you wished for a speedy exit before you drifted off into your dreams of a warmer place.

Then disaster struck.

It turned cold again after we stored away the electric heaters. Winter scoffed at our arrogance because he knows who is in charge. But winter is also considerate because after much wishing, complaining, screaming, kicking and whatever you might have done, he moved on, because he knows there is a time for everything. Winter finished his croissant, so to speak, grabbed his coat and walked out the door.

And Spring yet quietly, beautifully enters.
