#230 Joni Mitchell – Blue

Joni Mitchell is an artist I have heard about a lot, but I have never listened to her music. I know of artist who have sampled her songs. Blue is her fourth studio album. I hope this one is great because of the build up from other artist I like. Blue is my favourite colour so there is that at least.

Okay, I wanted to like her, but I cannot stand her voice. It is so high. I imagine if we have dogs in our city they all started howling when Mitchell started singing. This is really bad. Not Joan Baez bad, but pretty close. I have heard so much about her being awesome. I could not even do a second listen. “Little Green” is the least offensive, sort of. It is so bad that I will stop here. 2/10.
