Iron Maiden self-titled debut received critical and commercial success upon its release. I have never heard their music. I think sometimes I hear a band is in a certain genre and I do not listen to it because I do not like that genre. That would be all country music, almost all rap and many heavy metal bands.
The first song “Prowler” did not give me confidence in the band. I thought it sound like it was not produced by a real producer. The quality of the album is not very good.
I kind of sort of liked “Remember Tomorrow” and “Strange World”
I was surprised that some of the songs were a bit catchy. I did not hate it as much as I hated Motörhead. There are some slow rock ballad type of songs which is surprising. 6/10.
